[FILM] At the Gold Powder Workshop

SHIZENDO main office is usually lively and noisy with conversations between staffs and with customers on the phone, except for the workshop for manufacturing the gold powder or gold shell. All you hear is our craftsman seriously and carefully working on the process of crafting the gold powder-grinding, straining, and smoking.

All the genuine metal powders have been produced in house, with the quality being carefully controlled by the hands and the eyes of our experienced and skilled craftsman. The fine particles that gone through multiple cycles of precipitations and drying, have been favored by nihonga (Japanese painting) artists for its smoothness, delicate color development and expressions.

We here to share a little bit of the secret process.
