Is gold powder (粉) and pure gold mud (泥) are the same thing?
Strictly speaking, “Keshi (消)” refers to something in a powdered state, and “Dei (泥)” refers to a muddy substance made by dissolving “消” in glue for use.
However, these names are not strictly distinguished, and at Shizendo, we have been calling gold powder ("Keshi (消)") "Kindei" since old times. It’s like a dialect or a familiarity of each shop that the names are different.
Although it is different in terms of meaning, Shizendo uses the old name “Kindei” as a product name.
