Which products do you use for Kintsugi?

Pure gold powder, platinum powder, and silver powder can all be used. As for other metal powder, they can be used for decorative purposes as they are smoked or turned into powder made from brass, but are not recommended for use as tableware.

The metal powder generally used for Kintsugi are Kindei/Keshi gold powder, Hirame gold powder, and Marufun gold powder. The coarser the particles, the more metallic the luster, and the finer the particles, the more matte the finish.
