[Tutorial video] Basic Sunago gilding- 'sand-like gilding'
This time we are introducing about sunago (literally sand-like) gilding, or the technique of sparkling the ground metallic leaves like sand.
This is a traditional technique in Japan, as seen in picture strolls from ancient times.
Compared to the gilding with bigger pieces of gold leaf which require a lot of experience, sunago gilding is handy, yet gorgeous when finished.
